The purpose of the Regional Transportation Authority Committee (Committee) shall be to recommend to the Lake County Council, and the appointing authorities (§ 31.266(B)) a plan to organize, establish, and finance a public transportation system operating within the boundaries of Lake County, Indiana. The Committee’s plan shall include information for acquiring, improving, operating, maintaining, financing, and generally supporting the public transportation system.
